A wide open looking affair which can be short listed to Mysterial Ayr, Thornaby Green, Jordans Spark and Bijou Dan with the vote going to the last named. Bijou Dan was back to winning ways at Wolverhampton last time out and prior to that had been in blinding form all through the winter on the all weather. His turf mark is eleven pounds lower than his all weather one so if transforming his form to the turf he is potentially well in. Mysterial Ayr is aptly named as he has won twice around here and has also be placed but he was well beaten in a more competitive handicap last time out which has kind of exposed his ability on a faster surface. Back on soft ground here though he has to be noted. Thornaby Green ran well to finish third on his seasonal reappearance and will come on for the run and Jordans Spark should be noted in the market on his return to the track as his last flat run was a winning one. But for the winner we return to Bijou Dan.
