        Verdict

        Apt To Run, My Lovely Lady and Deutschland look the main contenders here with the vote going to the last named. Deutschland has been nothing but consistent of late and has not been out of the first three all season. His most recent run was when finishing third to Ogee at Windsor earlier on in the month and that form looks solid and has been franked as the winner has since bolted in again so he is a horse worth staying on the right side of. Apt To Run ran a personal best on his latest run when finishing second to Swayze at Redcar. It looked as though the penny had finally dropped as he had looked green in his previous runs so any market support should be noted. My Lovely Lady finished an eye catching second on her penultimate run but looked exposed at Nottingham when showing no signs of improvement so is best watched for now. So for the winner we return to Deutschland.
