Verdict

With conditions sure to be testing, the premium is on stamina and Little Sport looks the answer in the opener. Andy Scott's charge stays further and will handle the ground so should prove hard to beat following consistent efforts in better company of late having previously landed back-to-back wins at Newcastle in November. Broken Knights made a winning debut here in November and was far from disgraced when a staying-on runner-up at Doncaster the following month. The six-year-old will be well suited by the step up in trip and the ground will hold no terrors so should purvey a big danger. Krack De L'Isle is a confirmed mudlark and has to be respected following his easy success here last time while Mister Friday is an interesting newcomer and should be closely monitored in the betting for further clues.
