      Verdict

      Lexington Place has won the last two renewals off higher marks and Ruth Carr’s charge has to come into the reckoning but ORVAR (NAP) could spoil his day. A Listed winner as a two-year-old, he’s changed yards subsequently and Bob Cowell may well have coaxed him back to something like his best judged on last month’s reappearance at Lingfield when runner-up to the progressive Sir Edward Lewis. My Name Is Rio won a lower grade race in soft ground here recently and it was also soft when Coolfitch scored at York last month. Son Of Africa is turned out quickly having made a modest return at Doncaster last week but could go well.
