Sophie P beat Nicholas T over track and trip in May and the latter went on to score here himself later in the month. He’s upped 4lb for that while the former is now 8lb higher having placed in Listed company subsequently. But SPRING OFFENSIVE makes most appeal as this is easier than his recent tasks in the Hunt Cup at Thirsk and at Epsom last time. Candelisa is usually thereabouts but has yet to win a handicap and War Department remains 9lb higher than his latest success on the all-weather in March.
