Powerallied returned to action with a good effort at Chester when finishing ahead of subsequent York winner El Astronaute and has leading claims on that form. But he tends to save his best for the Cheshire track and TANASOQ is just preferred. The latter has a penalty to overcome but won nicely at Thirsk last week and is preferred to stablemate and Ripon runner-up Elysian Flyer. Plough Boy and Oriental Lilly have been in winning form on the all-weather this year with the latter preferred though both are upped in class for this.
