Verdict
Jabbarockie won at Haydock last time with Canford Bay behind and had earlier finished third at Thirsk when ahead of Excessable with Secretinthepark, Bashiba and Longroom all further behind. Eric Alston’s charge has every chance on that form and is preferred to recent Pontefract winner Lathom. Harome could only manage sixth in the Epsom Dash last time but this is less competitive while PRIMO’S COMET also faces an easier task than at Musselburgh when not getting a clear run. The latter found only the progressive Makanah too good on that occasion and Jim Goldie’s charge is taken to go one better.
