Verdict

Universal Gleam carries 5lb extra for winning at Hamilton but should go close again if allowed his own way out in front once more. Outside Inside is creeping closer though will need to improve on earlier attempts at today’s trip while Najashee hasn’t raced since October, but has subsequently switched to last year’s winning yard. Newcastle winner Trevithick can race off a much lower mark on this surface but another chance goes to MOUNT ARARAT, who failed to get a clear run when third at Pontefract recently and looks capable of scoring off his current mark on that form. Strong Steps is upped in class and Orobas is best over longer trips.
