Verdict

Hang In There is 5-7 over fences but this looks a big ask on a first run since November. The mare Telmesomethinggirl also looks up against it but the maiden Unexpected Party finished ahead of BALCO COASTAL at Cheltenham. However, the latter may have paid the price for trying to keep up with all-the-way winner Stage Star and is expected to reverse that form here. He’d earlier finished runner-up to the smart Gerri Colombe at Sandown, with Thunder Rock behind, when not appearing to enjoy going right-handed. Datsalrightgino didn’t enjoy the soft going at Cheltenham so shouldn’t be written off just yet.
