In depth

Verdict

Strong Economy initiated a track double in a similar race to this a year ago, both on heavy ground. His two recent runs have been on soft going in better company and he's likely to go well here. Juge Et Parti has an excellent strike-rate and was taking on slightly better class opposition at Carlisle after completing a double at Class 4 level. Irish raider SHANROE AL C is another with a very good record and always looked in command for his recent track and trip success. A 6lb rise looks fair and a double looks on the cards. Scoop The Pot scrambled home in a Class 4 handicap at Newcastle and a 4lb rise may put paid to his double prospects.
