This looks quite competitive for a Class 5. Black Friday won over 7f here two runs ago but has been found wanting over this trip in the past. Ventura Rascal wasn’t beaten far over course and distance in May and has had a light campaign but Albegrey has lost his way a little. Hale End was only beaten a short-head off this mark at Hamilton last time so has to go on the shortlist along with Tobetso, who won over this trip at Ripon. HEY LYLA is ideally drawn for a front-runner. She’s very inconsistent but her only previous win came over 7f here in May and she was second at Newmarket off this mark two runs ago.
