Verdict

Yet another cracking handicap but CLAIMANTAKINFORGAN will have plenty of takers. An excellent fifth in the Supreme Novices’, better ground can seem him reverse earlier running at Musselburgh with Beyond The Clouds despite worse terms. Nico de Boinville’s mount looks a better bet that stablemates Verdana Blue and Charli Parcs. Chesterfield looks a big danger if reproducing his fourth in the County Hurdle as he won this off a 2lb higher mark last year. Brelade, Flying Tiger and A Hare Breath were behind the latter at Cheltenham but Ben Pauling’s charge did win a Listed handicap at Sandown in December. Midnight Shadow needs a change of fortune but Flashing Glance could be interesting as he made giant strides in the autumn and will likely strip fitter for a win at Ludlow.
