Verdict

A cracking renewal but BRAQUEUR D’OR (NAP) is fancied to reverse Doncaster running in December with Keeper Hill. That race probably came too soon after a fine run behind Total Recall in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury. Suited by good going, his yard won this two years ago with a similar type and Sam Twiston-Davies prefers him to Mr Mix. Barney Dwan profited from the fall of Keeper Hill at Musselburgh in February and then ran well over a trip too short at Cheltenham. He’ll be thereabouts if the fences don’t get in the way while a strong gallop would suit Impulsive Star. Crosshue Boy has turned into a tough novice and his regular pilot claims 5lb while the mare Rons Dream arrives in terrific form, though wouldn’t want the ground to dry out too much. Ramonex is probably still on a decent mark but stamina might be an issue. Dingo Dollar has won his last two and is only six but this looks a big ask off a mark of 143.
