Verdict
Barney McGrew is holding his form well at the age of 12 but Michael Dods' charge looks up against it at the weight with SUBVERSIVE. The three-year-old takes on his elders but the form of his last two runs reads strongly and he should be good enough off a 3lb higher mark. Trip and ground are fine and Graham Lee is a positive booking. Opt Out has place claims but Luis Vaz De Torres is the intriguing one and rates the danger. He's yet to run on turf but has shown clear ability on both starts to date and, with improvement seeming certain, is short-list material.
