Verdict

Sprint king Bob Cowell shrewdly placed Iffranesia to earn black type in Chantilly earlier this month and the progressive daughter of Iffraaj should be in the shake-up again. Spinatrix is considered a Ripon specialist but has scored a couple of times here too and is clear on official ratings, though does seem at her most effective over 6f on an easy surface. It will be intriguing to see how Wanting and Goldcrest fare against their elders but Irish raider Dikta Del Mar probably needs softer conditions to be at her best. We'll take a chance on ONLINE ALEXANDER at her likely odds. She received no sort of run after missing the break in the Scottish Sprint Cup at Musselburgh last time and did well to finish as close as she did. The feeling persists she has more to offer and she could be a lively outsider in a very competitive heat.
