        Verdict

        Shaun Harris won this with a 14/1 chance a year ago and though That Be Grand has been running poorly he's just 1lb higher than his only victory over 1m6f on soft ground. Cool Baranca has won a dozen races in a long career and is fit from hurdling. He had Salford Dream behind when scoring at Catterick in October and the latter was narrowly beaten by POLITBUREAU at Redcar when conceding 5lb. That gives the latter plenty to do though he's much better on today's ground and can confirm the places and take this. Irish raider Mighty Whitey has only won once on the Flat and that was a claimer three years ago.
