A nice prize has attracted a strong field with Angel Power holding top ranking courtesy of her three-year-old form where she won at Group 2 and Group 3 level. Lightly-raced last year, she reappeared with a fine run behind the odds-on Noon Star is similar company at Nottingham. The Blue Brilliant is rated only 2lb lower and her moderate latest runs have been over 1m4f. She would be a threat if repeating her nose defeat in a Deauville Group 3 in August. MY ASTRA (NAP) looked one to follow this season after impressing at Yarmouth and Newmarket and finishing second on heavy ground in France last summer. She started favourite for her reappearance over a mile at Kempton but got tapped for toe before staying on and will be much better suited by this track and trip. Three-times winner Achelois is having her first start at this level after beaten a neck in an Epsom handicap.
