Outlook, King Alfie and Billich are on the shortlist here, with Billich getting a confident vote to step up on a very unlucky debut run. Outlook represents Sir Mark Prescott, and this son of Observatory will be expected to learn from the experience of his debut when finishing second at Wolverhampton. The value of that form is open to conjecture and we will field against it. King Alfie represents Kevin Ryan, who is going through a quiet spell, and he was fancied to win at Doncaster last time but could only plug on at one pace and finish fourth. He will need to show more pace than that to win this. Billich was desperately unlucky at Goodwood on his debut, being badly hampered when delivering his challenge, and having to settle for a close fifth. He can prove how unlucky he was here, and Billich is the selection.
