The progressive TEMPER TRAP can be forgiven a below par effort in a novelty classified race at Doncaster. He’d won four of his previous five outings and another bold bid is expected in this. Flylikeaneagle has looked high enough in the weights since landing a double back in July but Mi Capricho was beaten only a neck in a blanket finish over track and trip in the same month. Ayr Poet won over a longer distance at Hamilton and is preferred to Little Ted and Thirsk runner-up Do I Dream.
