In depth

Verdict

Le Cheval Noir has only gone up 3lb for scoring over 2m6f at Newcastle. Yes No Maybe So, who completed a four-timer last summer, may have benefited from a break while Soyouthinksoagain produced a career-best at Southwell last month. Aquila Sky came good upped to 3m at Doncaster but the second has let the form down since. BEYOND THE PALE tries this trip for the first time but may have been let in lightly on his handicap debut on a mark of 123 and the booking of Brian Hughes increases confidence. Lord Accord has been lightly raced and could also figure upped in distance.
