Though a winner at Ripon and Beverley this year, Latin Five finished behind Sixcor here in June and behind Burj Malinka at Hamilton earlier. Never Dark was headed right on the line by J R Cavagin at Doncaster last week and will be 3lb higher from next week. PROSPECT won over 6f on soft going at Thirsk at the start of the season and is back on the same mark. He is just as effective over this shorter trip and the likely fast pace will aid his cause. Little Muddy also goes on the shortlist along with the consistent Ustath.
