      Verdict

The vote here goes to Luberon ahead of Silver Blue, although Zennerman and Doctor Of Love are respected too. There is plenty to like about Luberon's form and he should appreciate today's step up to a mile. In point of fact, he is also six pounds better off for the three-parts of a length he was beaten by Zennerman at Warwick over seven furlongs on soft in early July. Having achieved a Listed placing and a couple of wins, Silver Blue is given plenty of respect, while Doctor Of Love has shown promise in each start - including when winning - on Lingfield's Polytrack. Finally, the debutant Speedy Sam attracts some interest as he is a Medicean half-brother to Sound That Alarm. Overall, though, given that he is receiving weight from Silver Blue, we will opt for Luberon.
