In depth

Verdict

Douglas Julian and Mighty Massini would probably prefer a softer surface and the latter was readily brushed aside over 2m here by Raysrock last month. Watch My Back still looks too high in the weights, while Lease Lend has gone off the boil since scoring at Wetherby in January and Nikos Extra is 10lb higher than when scoring at Haydock last month. Door Boy has tumbled down the weights this season and has his sights lowered here. He could run well at a big price but has ground to make up on I'MSINGINGTHEBLUES on Cheltenham running in January. David Pipe's top weight travelled strongly for a long way that day and, despite having failed to make the frame in three races over 2m since, it may just be that this is his trip nowadays.
