Faasel is two out of to so far over hurdles and looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to complete a hat trick, with Ambition Royal and Andre Chenier rated the main dangers. The selection was a useful middle distance horse on the flat in Ireland and has looked as least as good over timber since joining Nicky Richards, winning twice at Kelso with plenty in hand. The opposition here looks distinctly moderate with Lucinda Russell's Ambition Royal the obvious choice for the forecast. The son of Cyborg showed decent form in bumpers and has translated that to hurdles. He should win races but faces a stiff task against Faasel today. Off The Edge, a stablemate of the selection, and Len Lungo's Terramarique are probably worthy of a mention although a bigger threat is likely to come from Armentieres. The daughter of Robellino opened her account over timber when landing a seller at Catterick last month but this looks tougher and Faasel cannot be opposed.
