Mejd looks likely to pose a danger in this race and Don't Call Me stayed on strongly last time at Beverley but our preference is for STAFF SERGEANT to pick up the victory. The selection ran really well on the all-weather at Southwell last time and if translating that form to turf looks a very interesting prospect here. The Jim Goldie trained Dubawi gelding looked impressive on his first turn out this year when beating Widow Bird. Mejd was a decent winner earlier this month when showing enough within the final two furlongs to get another victory for Mick Channon. Don't Call Me also comes here with winning form after a strong finish at Beverley. Starry Mount has won at the course before, but if showing the pick of his ability then Staff Sergeant may just have enough to beat the opposition.
