Alan Swinbank looks to have found a good opportunity for TRICKSOFTHETRADE to follow-up last month's winning debut at Catterick. He had recent winner Jackson Cage back in third on that occasion and today's conditional jockey negates his penalty. Rudemeister won an Irish point-to-point last year, while Fog Patches was runner-up in a points race also in Ireland in September. They're both worth noting on their debut under Rules, but Santiago Boy has struggled in both starts here so far. The betting may give the best clue to the chances of newcomers Balivernier and Jonny Delta.
