Caesar's Palace has been very consistent without winning but can put matters right now, with Just The Jobe, Gargoyle Girl, Jordan's Ridge and Thoutmosis all in with chances. Caesar's Palace has not won since landing a claimer for Martin Pipe at Stratford two years ago, but has come down the weights since and is now around 20lbs lower in the weights. He has shown enough this term to warrant persevering with, and both the slight drop in trip and faster ground will enhance his chance. Dangers abound though, including Gargoyle Girl who made the most of a decent mark when opening her account over hurdles at Doncaster. She will be fit after a recent outing on the all-weather and will relish the step up in trip. Just The Jobe will have to brush up his jumping but comes from an in-form yard, while Jordan's Ridge is much better treated over hurdles than fences and should not be discounted. Nor should Thoutmosis although he has yet to hit form this season. Be My Manager has left Henrietta Knight and will no doubt go back over fences for his new stable in due course. He is best watched today though, and in a tricky affair, a small wager on Caesar's Palace is the suggestion.
