The Laird's Entry can jump round safely to get the losses back, with Arctic Lagoon expected to provide a bigger danger than the selection's stablemate Eriskay. The Laird's Entry came back from a break to make his chasing debut here at Ayr on Boxing Day and managed to finish second despite not impressing with his jumping. More mistakes were evident at Sedgefield and on his latest visit here when he came down at the last. He was second at the time and would not have won, but is sure to have been extensively schooled and is given a chance to put things right in a race that should not take too much winning. The younger Arctic Lagoon has yet to win any sort of race but is more experienced over the bigger obstacles, so Sue Bradburne's charge will pose the main threat in receipt of six pounds. Eye of The Tiger is not a safe conveyance, and the selection's stablemate Eriskay will need another race or two. The Laird's Entry has the most scope and providing he gives the fences respect, can add to The Rile's victory for the stable in this event 12 months ago.
