      Verdict

      Most ran pretty well or showed promise on their latest start but ARCHIE'S ADVICE has been in good heart over the last couple of months and should go close off an unchanged mark after commendable runner-up efforts the last twice. At home on the forecast soft ground, he seems sure to be in in the shake-up. Azzir was impressive when landing an apprentice handicap at Pontefract over this trip last week under this pilot and looks on the upgrade. He hasn't had much racing for a four-year-old and it was tempting to go along with him but his best form has been delivered on quicker ground and he's reluctantly passed over. Symbolic Star's latest Newcastle run suggests a drop in trip is needed and he's shortlisted alongside Testa Rossa, a course and distance winner sporting blinkers for the first time at the age of six.
