The third race on the card is an interesting contest in which most of the seven runners have claims of sorts. Out of The Shadows can be fancied but the overall form of the Mary Reveley stable is a worry, and it has to be said that he was firmly put in his place by Altay at Wetherby. Cita Verda is a course and distance winner but needs to brush up her jumping, while Image de Marque 11 will struggle a bit under top weight. Deep Sunset reverts to hurdles after coming a cropper in the mares' only final at Uttoxeter, and prior to that was well beaten in the Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton. She still looks a bit high in the weights and preference is for Dancing Pearl who scooted in on the fast ground at Southwell three weeks ago. As topweight Image de Marque stands her ground, Cecil Price's mare can race off just 10 stone here, and with the galloping track expected to suit, she can round off a good season by completing a hat-trick in what will be her final outing before being put out to grass for the summer.
