Danzatrice gets the call here ahead of Magic Moth and Boxhall. Danzatrice came there looking like the winner at Musselburgh last week only to finish second and, at today's slightly shorter trip and from the same mark, she might be able to make amends. It is hard to know how fair or otherwise Magic Moth's mark is but, he is a lightly-raced Mark Johnston runner that should have improvement to come so has to be considered. You could build the case for Princess Kiotto although she has a long absence to overcome, while a return to 2005 form would give Vicious Prince good claims, but that is what you are banking on. He has not always looked the easiest of rides but Karlani ran well at Newbury last term from his current mark and cannot be discounted on that basis, while a return to his best summer 2006 efforts would give Boxhall claims. Brigadore has it to prove at handicap level at present, while if the first-time headgear works, Brabazon could not be ruled out. Finally, Alfonso is unproven at today's trip so, for the selection, we return to Danzatrice.
