In depth

Verdict

Ever Present has an obvious chance in this company and gets the vote ahead of See You There and Drumintine. The last mentioned is a winning pointer and could be of interest but he faces no easy task on his rules debut and is probably best watched. Sue Bradburne's No Picnic is probably better than he has shown this term but is hard to recommend on recent evidence. See You There certainly makes more appeal than stablemate Wainak and would have gone close but for falling at the last at Carlisle two starts ago but Ever Present should have learned from his chase debut at Newcastle and is taken to give trainer Nicky Richards another winner.
