Verdict

Ardera Cross has won six times over fences here but never over hurdles. THE JAD FACTOR is only a pound higher than when second here in January and won well later at Newcastle when Wotsmyname was unplaced. He’s having a first run since April but it may be worth taking a chance on his fitness as conditions won’t be a problem. Benito is a consistent sort but possibly a few pounds too high at present while Hard Iron has gone up 7lb for a recent course and distance victory, though that was a much-improved performance.
