Shy Glance is sure to have his supporters but we prefer the look of Hawkit with Thunderwing, Grandad Bill and English City rated the dangers. Shy Glance may be more inconvenienced by soft ground rather than his 5lb rise for his win over course and distance and it's the possibility of testing terrain that also prompts us to put a line through Boy Dancer and Superior Star. Grandad Bill should be in the shake-up whilst English City has appeared to be an improved performer over hurdles and may possibly be on a decent mark as a result. Thunderwing is on a fair enough mark and has plenty in his favour but he is still searching for his first win since 2004 and cannot be confidently put forwards as a result. Hawkit should handle the ground, is on a decent mark and tends to do his winning at around this time of year at around this trip and at this track; expect a big run from Hawkit.
