Play Mate got her head in front with a late flourish over 6f at Wolverhampton and this extra distance should suit on that showing. GATEWAY was still beaten a long way when runner-up on his debut but finished much closer when third at Lingfield last week and Mark Johnston’s charge gets the vote with any further progress. The remaining trio look to have plenty to find with the Irish filly Duquesa Beach perhaps best of them on her latest effort at Dundalk.
