In depth

Verdict

HAJJAM (NAP) is 3-9 around here, has been running in better company, and is now 1lb lower than his last winning mark so gets the vote. Gweedore completed a double at Musselburgh in September and looked on the way back to form there last week while Daniel Deronda was in winning form at Newcastle at the backend of last year and a long absence is rarely a problem for one from his yard. Global Humor won here and at Hamilton in May and is only 3lb higher than his last victory while Prospect came good at the 14th attempt at Leicester and has only been raised 2lb. The three victories of Royal Advice have been gained on the Tapeta at Newcastle.
