In depth

Verdict

Oriental Lily has won twice around here and is on her lowest ever mark but possibly prefers an extra furlong these days. Hard Solution, who completed a double last month and has remained in fine form, had a chance in the 4.23 here yesterday, as did Alsvinder, while I'll Be Good was also engaged in the same race. Sixcor has changed stables since showing easily his best form when beaten a neck at Brighton but FRENCH RED looks up to winning this. Iain Jardine's charge has only had five runs and is progressing fast judging by his last two runs, the latest when just failing by a short-head to catch Willingly at Yarmouth.
