SHADOW GAME can follow up a comfortable Beverley success last month when accounting for Relight My Fire. He always looked likely to oblige that day and Mark Johnston enjoys a good record when pitting three-year-olds against their elders. He looks progressive and is still on a feasible mark. Mass Rally, though a classy sprinter on his day, has yet to score at this trip and his last success came back in 2013 so Irish Optimism could prove the danger as he's only had the four starts, which include a course win here in April. Cymraeg Bounty who looked very much on the upgrade until disappointing in the Carlisle Bell consolation race. He has to be of interest if putting that behind him, although there is something of a question mark about this drop in trip.
