Good recent form is hard to come by in this Handicap so after his win last time preference is made for the unexposed DIES SOLIS while Classlin and Drumpellier heading the list of dangers. After showing moderate ability in maidens the selection showed much improved form when scoring in just his second start in these ranks last time. He only just got up that day but with improvement possible he seems the right call. Classlin is now just 1lb heavier in the handicap than when missing out by less than a length behind Patch Patch over a furlong shorter here in May and it's that piece of form that gives him every chance. Drumpellier was well held by the selection last time out and that result looks likely to be confirmed but he is one of the more likely for the places. Monte Mayor One ran well in defeat off this rating the last time we saw him so has claims on that but not as strong as Dies Solis who should improve again.
