Verdict

Jessie Allen has a 6lb penalty after gaining her first victory on her 41st start in an amateurs' race at Redcar last week. She's also 2lb out of the handicap so faces a much stiffer task. Nuns Walk has been performing with credit and wasn't beaten far at this level at Nottingham on Wednesday while Caridade, who ran in much better class last season after her Redcar maiden victory, will be better for her recent return at Wetherby. Irish raider EVIES WISH lost her maiden tag with a very easy victory at Newcastle in November. She reappeared in a strong handicap at Gowran last week and that will have put her spot-on for this. Dundunah is still looking high enough in the weights.
