In depth

Verdict

Could Be Trouble has a first run for Donald McCain having won a Gowran maiden in March and she can’t be ignored. CHARM OFFENSIVE travelled strongly but possibly found 3m a shade too far behind the useful Doyen Breed in a handicap here last time. She still looks to be improving and, back in novice company and with Bruce Lynn taking off 5lb, Nick Alexander’s mare can get her head in front today getting 9lb, taking into riders’ claims, from the also still-improving Miss Tara Moss. Burnt Ash has hinted at ability in maidens in her native Ireland but may struggle to make the frame if the others run up to form.
