      Verdict

      JOSHUA THE FIRST is creeping closer to his first win after just failing over 6f at Carlisle last time. Today's step up in trip will suit and he's preferred to Latte, who has a tendency to find at least one too good. Dansili Dutch has shown little so far and, while Nemushka and Curtain Patch are worth noting in the betting on their debuts, fellow newcomer Rasputin could finish ahead of both as he boasts entries in the valuable sales race later in the season.
