Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

CLOSE HOUSE gave the impression he would not be long in winning when beaten by the narrowest of margins in a similar event at Huntingdon on his debut. Karen McLintock looks to have found him a good opportunity to get off the mark here. Playing Truant is the only other runner with experience but he was well beaten on his debut and the newcomer Tobetall looks a bigger threat. She's a half-sister to a couple of winners over hurdles and should go well, with Koultas King and Porridge other newcomers to note.
