Jack Blane, a dual all-weather winner, gained his first success on Turf at the 18th attempt at Hamilton last week for which he's penalised. Remember Rocky is a regular around here and generally does well on the track. He's been going well over an extra 2f in recent races here and the drop back in trip should be in his favour, as will Paula Muir's presence in the saddle. CANADIAN GEORGE has yet to win but has been getting closer and his latest narrow defeat came in slightly better class on this track so it's time he was losing his maiden tag. Bob Maxwell has also been running in better company without showing much while Less Of That has some decent form in Ireland and isn't badly treated despite a big weight.
