Royal Regent beat Gworn in a Class 5 handicap here in August but couldn't cope when stepped up two grades on a return visit and he's more comfortable in this grade. The lightly-raced Unwritten looked on the way back at Doncaster and now looks on a fair mark but DAAWY escapes a penalty for an easy victory in an apprentice race at Haydock on Friday and a hat-trick beckons. Top Mission has been racing in better company without being disgraced though looks a few pounds high but Brisk Tempo was returning from a long break when just failing to catch Deja at Chester and can race from the same mark. I'm Improving didn't really live up to his name in his first two starts early in the summer.
