Verdict

International Law has been thereabouts at Wolverhampton but hasn’t won on Turf since 2017 but Royal Countess recorded her only win so far over track and trip, though that was on soft going. Engles Rock appeared to have no excuse for a poor effort at Musselburgh last time but heavy ground looked a legitimate reason for DR T J ECKLEBURG running below par at Haydock. The latter had gone close at Ripon earlier and gets the vote on that form. Magic Gem may prove best of the rest upped in trip.
