Verdict
Fat Boy looks the best of this bunch and we take him to pick this prize up at the expense of Sir Gerry and Berbice. The selection was a useful juvenile last term and appears to have trained on if his recent Newmarket run was anything to by. The drop back to six looks a positive in the context of today's race. Sir Gerry was disappointing on his seasonal reappearance but it is folly to discount a horse on one bad run. This six furlongs on a fast surface compares starkly to seven on soft. Berbice has to reverse form with our selection and in fairness to him, there is a chance he might finish closer as conditions are likely to suit. Tajdeef ran in quality races last year and the market will tell us if he has trained on. Spirit Of Sharjah has questions to answer these days. Prohibit won well on seasonal reappearance at headquarters and attempts to graduate into better grade. Edge Of Light was underestimated by the bookmakers' ahead of her run in the Dubai Duty Free and she is set to reoppose Elizabeth Swann again this afternoon. Fat Boy is a likeable enough sort and he can continue his progression through the ranks.
