Several of these have run between the flags. Way Out won a maiden at Lingstown in March and Bannow Bay Boy was second at Tallow a month earlier, though only two finished. Breaking Cover is preferred to Scrum Diddly of the other former pointers but Billy Boi Blue, second in a Huntingdon bumper in April, is likely to have more pace and is the choice of Paddy Brennan ahead of Tigger. Soldierofthestorm is a half-brother to a bumper and hurdles winner and Samazul cost €110,000 as a three-year-old but FIRE FLYER was an even more expensive purchase and has a cracking NH pedigree being a full brother to the useful hurdler and chaser Sevarano so he gets the nod.
