Soprano was a beaten favourite in a Listed race at Sandown on Thursday but that was over 7f and she would be interesting if making a quick reappearance as she finished ahead of both Pretty Crystal and Komat when third in the Albany over course and distance last month. Godolphin runners haven’t fared well in this Group 3 and Dazzling Star looks held by Sacred Angel on collateral form and SYMBOLOGY looked a useful recruit when beating more experienced rivals at York. Clive Cox’s filly is a full sister to the Group 2 and Listed winner El Caballo among others. Lunar Shine, a half-sister to the smart Anmaat and Syntax, also has plenty of scope and quickened well at Thirsk.
