GEORGE OF HEARTS didn’t get much of a run in the Britannia Stakes here last month but still finished ahead of Corrosive, who is 2lb worse off, with Petrus, Crack On Crack On, Sam Gold and Moqarrar further behind. With better luck in-running, Richard Hughes’ charge could play a big part today. Escalator won twice last month in the style of an improver and had Papa Stour behind on the latter occasion. Aquarium is also on a hat-trick and Ryan Moore has been engaged while Ulshaw Bridge has improved since finishing fourth to Crack On Crack On at Haydock in May and wasn’t winning out of turn last time at Doncaster. Rum Runner may be the pick of the remainder.
